American Breakfast at the hotel. 07:30-12:30 Visit the western part of Bangkok, Thonburi, situated on the right side of the Chao Phya River. Its many canals had originally given Bangkok the name “Venice of the East.” Passing by boat along the canals gives you a first hand impression of the scenic life along Bangkok’s waterways. Also visit the Royal Barges and the Temple of Dawn. The Grand Palace is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the Kings of Thailand. Here you will see palaces which were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. p.m. At leisure. 19:30-22:00 THAI DINNER & DANCES AT SALA RIMNAM RESTAURANT

Day 4 CHIANG MAI (B/L/-)
American Breakfast at the hotel. 08:30 Depart hotel and drive up the serpentine road to the magnificently situated Wat Doi Suthep. Perched on a forested mountain, this most sacred of Chiang Mai s temples (3,280 ft.) provides a superb view over the city, as well as a wealth of images and frescos. You then pass the city’s biggest market – Talat Varorot- before going to two important temples, Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Sing. Lunch at Le Grand Lanna Restaurant .p.m. The remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 5 CHIANG MAI – THATORN – GOLDEN TRIANGLE (B/L/D)
08:30 Depart Chiang Mai to visit an orchid farm. Proceed to Thatorn via Chiang Dao and Fang. En route, visit Chiang Dao Cave at Wat Tham Chiang Dao. The caverns are full of sacred Buddha images and natural formations. The main caven is illuminated by electric lights, while deepest recesses can be explored with oil lanterns. Arrive at Baan Thatorn, a small village just a few kilometers from the Burmese border where lunch will be served at Thatorn River View Resort. Take a short trip (approx. 45 minutes) on the Mae Kok River with a simple long-tailed motor boat from Baan Thatorn to Baan Pa Tai. Disembark and continue drive to Chiang Saen. 16:00 Arrive at the Camp’s private pier and embark on a traditional longtail boat downstream, passing an unspoiled jungle scenery to the Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle, the most exciting tented camp and luxury resort. Check-in on arrival.

Wake-up call and morning beverage ,The professional mahouts provide training in how to care for and drive and elephant. Breakfast ,Late morning at leisure.Lunch Afternoon at leisre: Relax by the jungle pool. Afternoon tea ,Late afternoon:Elephant trekking to practise elephant care and driving skills Sundowners in the jungle or Elephant Camp. Dinner including beverages, house wines and spirits by campfire at the Elephant Camp.
Day 7 TENTED CAMP, GOLDEN TRIANGLE (B/L/D)
Wake-up call and breakfast. Morning activities. Cruise on the Mekong River with stop at villages and temples along the way. Picnic lunch on the river boat. Afternoon at leisure: Go fishing with a local guide. Afternoon tea. Enjoy a relaxinf massage at the spa. Sundowners. Pre-dinner drinks with presentation on a topic of interest.
